Perfect as a work of art, fragile as a flower, but robust as a coffee bean… Orchids are everywhere in the Finca but happy one who can see them because they know how to camouflage themselves in the heights of the branches of our giant trees.
“Sarchimor” is not a distinct variety but rather a group of distinct varieties with similar roots, created (among others) to safeguard plantations from the coffee rust disaster.
The Sarchimores, come from the cross of the Timor Hybrid CIFC 832/2 (resistant to rust) and plants of the variety Villa Sarchi.
Descendants derived from Sarchimor have given rise to varieties with stable characteristics in different countries: Brazil, Iapar 59, Tupí and Obatá; Honduras, Parainema; El Salvador El Cuscatleco; Nicaragua, Marseillaise
Low size, green or bronze shoot, vigor and high production, well suited in low and medium altitude areas.
Good Cup Quality. Potential of the cup increases the higher the altitude.
Cupping profile includes a rich body with notes of red berries and cocoa.
Flavor Profile: Medium bodied with low acidity and notes of stone fruits
