Since 2012, Osmin and his team have been clearing, developing and improving the coffee plantation and its facilities. With all the work done to-date to clear, clean up and prepare the soil for growing coffee, the farmable area will continue to be expanded in the years to come
To date, the 27 Finca employees have been able to develop 55 hectares for coffee growing, out of 350 hectares on the property, transforming virgin jungle into productive areas. Environmental standards are carefully maintained, above and beyond local legislation. You can walk along the many bodies of water on the property from the protective shoreline strips, or even drink from the same waterways because the water is of an unparalleled quality and untouched, and you will see that all trees that are cut down are replaced both with quality coffee plants, and also with giant trees that provide the necessary shade to help coffee grow.
These examples are part of a long-term development plan for the land, so that the Finca can still be there tomorrow for the children of the family and the community in the heart of this isolated region. Our goal is to establish an outstanding plantation on a human scale…
